12 Steps to a spiritual awakening

I hope this series teaches you something about yourself. It helped me re-learn what I already knew, but had escaped me for some time.

After ” Waking up ” my existence was set in a whole new world. I felt like Aladdin peaking at what life inside the kingdom had to offer. The difference was that I was now living in a kingdom of my own creation. After I realized I was not actually dreaming or flying on a magic carpet I started to research and explore exactly what was happening to me and why. What I found were many different books, articles and, posts about the 7, 10, or 12 steps of a spiritual awakening. The most fascinating aspect of these symptomatic steps was that the majority of them had actually happened to me. What I once would have dismissed as ‘Woo-woo’ or ‘Pollyanna’ was no longer just someone else’s theory or idea. It was now based on my own personal experience which I would like to share with you over a series of posts that can each stand-alone or be taken as one aggregate article. It is up to you and it is below. The best part is these are all two-minute reads for you to enjoy. Have a great day and if you like it let me know and if you didn’t like it let me know. Please tell me what you would like to read about. Thank you.

1. You begin to see clearly. Leaves and flowers become brighter and deeper.

2. You feel more connected to nature and infinite intelligence.

3.You feel more connected to the planet, space and the universe as a whole.

4. You take responsibility for your life.

5. You forgive people and situations that give you a negative charge, you start to forgive everyone (including yourself).

6. You do not identify with things the same way you once did.

7. Your inner world becomes just as real as the world of the 10,000 things” as the Tao Te Ching calls our 3D world of physical form.

8. You no longer live with a scarcity mindset because you see abundance everywhere.

9. You can turn down outer noise which allows you to silence the inner critic

10. You embrace your future while letting go of your past.

11. You consciously surrender to the present moment.

12. Overwhelming breaths of compassion that release tears (or almost do) as they force their way to the surface.

(it is important to note that these will change and there will be many more steps. That’s is what its all about, the list above happened to me in 1 year so, imagine what could happen in 10, 20 or 40 years once awakened)

You are awesome and I thank you for reading these words.

Have a great day!

How do i find my purpose?

What is the purpose of life? What is my purpose and how do I find it? Why are we here? What’s the meaning of it all?

If you have asked yourself any or all of the questions above then you are well on your way to figuring it out. Hopefully, this article will accelerate the answers for you.

The truth is that the purpose of life is the same for everyone. In its simplest form, the answer is Love. That is the real purpose and meaning of life. Living is not supposed to be a struggle. We are all here to create and once you realize this it makes it easier to do so.

Everyone’s purpose is to love. It doesn’t matter if you are a professional baseball player or an auto mechanic. A Teacher or a CEO. You are that thing because of love. If you don’t have a career that started out because of love then you have a job and may have to look to other areas of life for LOVE. If you still can’t find it then look to the past. What did you love as a 5, 10 or even a 15-year-old? My guess is that if you look closely at those areas you will see that you still love them but life somehow got in the way. Go do some of the same things and see how it feels. Jump on a trampoline or take a swing ride at your neighbourhood park. Go jump in a lake or run barefoot on the grass. In the next article, i will discuss the 12 steps of awakening as I have seen them unfold in my life.
